Adoption of Bylaws – The leadership team plans to have copies of the bylaws available on August 25th for members. There will be a special called business meeting on August 28th at 7:00 pm for a vote on adopting the bylaws as written for Autaugaville Baptist Church.
Pulpit Search Committee – the leadership team plans to have a vote for the Pastor Search committee persons on September 8th during the morning worship service. All members of the church are eligible to vote for those persons they feel are qualified to search, elect, and secure a candidate for our next senior Pastor. Please begin praying about your selections. We will chose six people – five to serve and one as an alternate. Prayerfully read the insert of the qualifications for search committee members to assist you in choosing Godly members for this task. Only members of Autaugaville Baptist are eligible to serve or vote.
Deacon Selection – New deacons for the 2019-2020 year will be voted on September 15th. More details on those men ineligible for selection and the qualifications of a deacon will be in the bulletin in the coming weeks. Only members of Autaugaville Baptist are eligible to serve or vote.
Baptist Women – Monday, August 19 at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall with Cheryl Popham as hostess and Jan Hardin with the program. All ladies are invited to attend and become a part of our this mission minded organization. Ms. Carolyn Lee will be a quest speaker on her recent mission trip.
Family Fun Time – Mark your calendars for August 25! With an evening of food, games, fun, fellowship, cake, ice cream and more! The annual cake bake will be part of the fun so get out your recipes and cook up something special for the judges!
